Frequently Asked Questions

How does pricing work?

My pricing structure is transparent, flexible, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each enterprise. I consider factors such as company size, scope of work, and anticipated deliverables to offer tiered pricing options. Additionally, I provide contract-based pricing for long-term stability, aligning our services with your strategic objectives.

A 20 minute initial consult is free, a follow-up consult is priced at $65 dollars in increments of 20 minutes.

Requests for written quote to follow consult is priced at $135 USD and a signed contract with 30% deposit is required before I commence any work, demonstrating mutual commitment to project success.

Overall, I aim to deliver exceptional value while upholding the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can request a refund of your deposit within 48 hours. Contact me and I will process your refund on your deposit within 24 hours (all further processing time dependent on your banking institution and method of payment).

After 48 hours, the deposit is retained and clients are only eligible for refund on receivables above the deposit rendered, and such receivables are eligible for refund within 14 days of your contract signing and work performed. All other request for refunds are subject to the terms and conditions of our business contract.

Do you use IRS Form 1099-NEC?

Yes. All clients must file an IRS Form 1099-NEC when contracting me for services (this does not apply to initial or follow-up consults, only when a contract is enacted and only should be issued to my LLC if the contract renders $600 USD or more for services rendered during the tax year).

I will reflect my contract with you via Schedule C (Form 1040) in accordance with the IRS, to report income (or loss) from my LLC as sole proprietor. The requirement for filing an IRS Form 1099-NEC will also be included in our business contract and I will supply my W-9 upon the signatory’s return of the contract to me.

How does billing work?

The specifics of our billing arrangement are outlined in the contract, which can include various billing models tailored to your preferences. These models may include:

Per Deliverable: Under this model, billing occurs upon the completion and delivery of specific project milestones or deliverables. This approach ensures that payment is tied to tangible progress and results.

Upon Delivery: In this model, billing occurs upon the successful completion and delivery of the entire project. This provides a clear endpoint for billing and simplifies the invoicing process.

Monthly Installments: For longer-term projects, I also offer monthly installment billing arrangements. This option allows for spreading the cost of the project over time, providing financial flexibility while ensuring steady progress towards project completion.

These billing models are flexible and can be customized to suit the unique requirements of your project. Our goal is to provide you with a billing arrangement that aligns with your preferences and facilitates a smooth and transparent payment process.

I also have a simple billing system which allows you to pay for services.

Can I get an invoice for my purchase?

Yes, as part of my standard procedure, I provide detailed invoices for all services rendered. These invoices are itemized based on paid consults and/or the sections outlined in the contract, ensuring transparency and clarity in our billing process. Our invoices serve as a comprehensive breakdown of the services provided, including any associated costs and fees.

By itemizing the invoice according to the sections of the contract, I aim to provide you with a clear understanding of the work completed and the corresponding charges. If during the timeline of a project and unexpected fee arises that impacts completion, the client will be consulted and asked for approval before incurring a fee and, if appropriate, an amended contract will be provided with signature required before work is completed.

How do you handle sensitive information and ensure client confidentiality?

Ensuring the confidentiality and security of your sensitive information is paramount. I have implemented robust measures to safeguard all data entrusted to me and ensure compliance with relevant privacy laws and regulations.

Access to sensitive information is strictly limited to authorized collaborators only, and I adhere to the principle of “need-to-know” access. This means that only individuals directly involved in the project have access to relevant client data, minimizing the risk of unauthorized disclosure.

I personally uphold a strict code of ethics regarding confidentiality agreements. In the event that subcontracting or outsourcing is necessary, I carefully vet third-party vendors to ensure they meet stringent security and confidentiality standards. All subcontractors are fully disclosed to the client and briefed on their responsibilities regarding client data protection. Non-disclosure agreements are established with all external parties involved in the project to legally bind them to maintaining confidentiality.

Regular reviews and updates of security protocols and privacy policies are conducted to adapt to evolving threats and regulatory requirements. Client confidentiality remains a cornerstone of my business, and I am committed to upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and data protection at all times.

If you have any specific concerns or requirements regarding the handling of sensitive information, please don’t hesitate to discuss them with me, and let’s ensure these requirements are outlined in your contract. I’m here to address any questions or considerations you may have and ensure your peace of mind regarding confidentiality.
